Vredehoek, Cape Town, Western Cape
Vredehoek is an Afrikaans word meaning 'Peace Corner' and is a popular suburb located just outside the city centre and on the slopes of Table Mountain.
Developments of new apartments and redevelopment of older buildings have led to a revival in this neighbourhood and is very popular with younger demographic of buyers and renters.
Due to its location on a slope, Vredehoek offers some of the best views of the city out to the harbour and sea.

The Gardens Shopping centre although relatively small compared to some of the bigger and more well known shopping centres in Cape Town is nonetheless the most popular shopping centre in the city bowl with loyal local shoppers.
Schools:
As a popular young family suburb, Vredehoek is well positioned close to a number of private and public schools around the city bowl. Herzlia and Good Hope Seminary are two of the biggest schools in the neighbourhood.

Mountain biking on the Deer Park mountain bike trail is an exhilarating experience and suitable for all levels.
